Sensex rise 145 Pts, Nifty above 8500, Top Stock BUY/SELL trading calls

The Market may be trending higher on Monday but the main focus will be parliament monsoon session that begins today and earnings. The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 105.61 points at 27836.50 and the 50-share Nifty declined 23.60 points at 8541.40 on Friday. CITI, which remains constructive on the market with a target of 28,800, expects an aggregate sensx earnins growth of around 13 percent for the current financial year.

The BSE Sensex is trading 145.45 points or 0.52 percent higher at 27981.95 and The NSE Nifty index is trading up 33.20 points or 0.39 percent at 8574.60. About 1503 shares have advanced, 701 shares declined and 117 shares are unchanged. 

The BSE Midcap index is up 0.35 percent at 12168.00 and The BSE Small Cap trading gain 0.68 percent at 12060.94. 

Among Bajaj Auto 2.38%, Tata Motors 2.26%, ICICI Bank 1.94%, Maruti Suzuki 1.90%, Axis bank 1.43%, RIL 1.43%, Hero Motocorp 1.29% were top gainers in the Sensex, while Bharti Airtel 1.45%, ONGC 1.35%, Wipro 0.90%, Hind.unilever 0.89%, NTPC 0.80%, Cipla 0.71% were top losers in the Sensex.
